Friends of Ohio Hospitals is a political action committee ("PAC") sponsored by the Ohio Hospital Association that raises funds to support Ohio candidates and issues, and educates Ohio lawmakers and others about the issues important to Ohio's health care community. The Friends of Ohio Hospitals PAC has been active in Ohio for over 20 years and the PAC continues to be a key educator in today's public policy arena. The continued growth of the PAC is vital and directly impacts the voice of Ohio's health care community in the public policy process. Education and personal participation is key to our success. This Web site is dedicated to providing non-partisan voter education information to assist members of Friends of Ohio Hospitals and others interested in issues of importance to the health care community in learning about Ohio candidates and ballot issues, the political process, and voting.

2011 OHA Board Chair Mina Ubbing, president and CEO of Fairfield Medical Center, hosted a Friends of Ohio Hospitals fundraising event. The MASH-themed reception was held at the Fairfield County Airport historical aviation hangar.
